Jonathan Cope admitted to Freedom of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators
May 27, 2026
MCMS is delighted to congratulate Jonathan Cope on his recent admission to the Freedom of the City of London and his advancement to the Livery of the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators.
Granted by the Court of Aldermen, the Freedom of the City of London is a longstanding honour recognising an individual’s connection to the professional and civic life of the City. Following his admission, Jonathan also became a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators and was formally clothed in the Livery at the Company’s Annual Charter Banquet at Mansion House earlier this month.
Jonathan’s admission to both the Freedom and the Livery reflects his excellence and commitment to dispute resolution, together with the values of service, fellowship and professional distinction embodied by the City’s Livery Companies.
Jonathan is pictured here with the Master of the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators, Matt Molloy, during the formal clothing ceremony, where many of us at MCMS were delighted to join them both in celebrating this special occasion.
Huge congratulations to Jonathan from us all on this well-deserved achievement!
