Our Experts and Experience 

Having began their careers as quantity surveyors, our experts offer deep technical understanding and practical insight, bringing a meticulous, analytical and objective approach to matters of quantum.   We have decades of combined experience working for main contractors, employers, and legal professionals on major projects in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East across sectors such as energy from waste, commercial, industrial, residential, education and healthcare. 

Recent experience includes:

• Appointed as expert in an arbitration for a hotel development in the Caribbean relating to valuation of loss and expense and variations.
• Provided a number of expert reports and joint statements for litigation proceedings relating to repairs to highways and highways disputes.
• Provided expert reports for an adjudication relating to a responsive repairs and maintenance contract for gas works. The dispute centred around valuation of the works undertaken in relation to the partnering agreement, and validation of the quantum of the works properly undertaken. 
• Provided advice and an expert report for mediation proceedings for a defects related damages claim.
• Provided an expert report for adjudication proceedings relating to claims for prolongation, defects and re-measurement of the main contract works. The report included undertaking re-measurement and re-valuation of a significant number of items in dispute between the client and a contractor, including mechanical and electrical works.
• Provided an expert report for adjudication proceedings relating to principle and valuation of additional works under a JCT Design and Build Contract. 
• Provided advice and an expert report for mediation proceedings relating to delay, loss and expense and variations.
